We discovered this original rear sight on a Smith & Wesson 320 revolving rifle a number of years ago. The replacement parts inventory from the Smith and Wesson Factory was released in a collection that includes a sizeable amount of them. Bins upon bins of New Old Stock components were there, some dating as far back as S&W No. 1, 2nd Issue Revolvers from the 1860s. But the majority of it dates from the early to mid-20th century. There was so much of it that these guys were having trouble identifying it all and a gunsmith friend of mine was helping them out. they are impossible to find and production was extremely limited. This sight was the only one they had. Aside from being in storage for over 100+ years and coming into contact with other parts, it was almost brand new, having never been installed on a gun. Smith and Wesson only produced 977 Model 320 Revolving Rifles. Here is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pick up one up..
TACTICAL AMMO FOR FEDERAL HST LAW ENFORCEMENT. Cased in nickel HOLLOW POINT with high expansion and deep penetration! This substance rips apart the villains and expands crazily. Pellets of caliber 25 can be fired from Benjamin Marauder. Included is the BSA "Essential" AR 3x9-40 AO air rifle sight shown in the image. There are no dents, scratches, or other types of damage to the metal, stock, or scope, which are all in good shape. The Brownells Aluma-Hyde was used to paint the factory fiber stock a tan color. The cheekpiece was left in its original black color. This weapon fires and operates well. For weeks, it keeps its full energy. Two 8-round magazines, one drop-in single-shot ramp, two full O ring rebuild kits, and little over 1000 Exact King pellets are included as extras. There is no field experience with the rifle. I'd say there have been fewer than 500 rounds total.
