We discovered this original rear sight on a Smith & Wesson 320 revolving rifle a number of years ago. The replacement parts inventory from the Smith and Wesson Factory was released in a collection that includes a sizeable amount of them. Bins upon bins of New Old Stock components were there, some dating as far back as S&W No. 1, 2nd Issue Revolvers from the 1860s. But the majority of it dates from the early to mid-20th century.
